The Super Mario Galaxy Movie came out in theaters on April 1, 2026. It is a sequel to the 2023 movie, The Super Mario Bros.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is about the character Princess Rosalina being kidnapped by Bowser Jr. and Kamek. Then Mario and Luigi find Yoshi. The Mario Bros team up with Fox McCloud to defeat Bowser and his son. The Mario Bros also get help from Peach and her faithful assistant Toad.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie references other gaming series such as Game and Watch, Pikmin, Wrecking Crew, and Starfox.
5th grader Liam Mayo shared what he thought about the Mario Galaxy movie.
“It didn’t have as many galaxies as I hoped,” Mayo said.
Another 5th grader, Sawyer Wallace, added “It was good, but there wasn’t a point”.
