Nest Coffee & Bakery is a small business striving to create a community-oriented coffee house. It serves pastries, hot and cold drinks, and breakfast and lunch options.

Nest is located within one of the historic buildings in Five Corners. It underwent many changes since it was built in the late 1800s, from housing the village’s first firehouse to serving as a newspaper house and various small businesses.
“We welcome students to come and use our coffee house as an alternative place to do homework, a ‘hang-out’ place amongst friends,” owner of Nest, Jake Tran, said. “Or just a quick pick-up of a latte, smoothie, or a cold drink.”

The small business is open from 7 AM to 3 PM, except on weekends when it opens an hour later.
“I like meeting new customers, many regular customers have become friends, and many former staff have stayed connected even after their departure,” Tran shared. “A couple recently came in to celebrate their first anniversary because they met in Nest.”
“Where friends meet, where a friendly barista serves hot drinks or delicious smoothies,” Tran said. “We always appreciate a shout-out on social media, word of mouth, or just a visit to Nest.”
