Meet Me On Main, a new event through Essex Junction Parks and Recreation that happened on four Saturdays throughout September and early October, was filled with food, arts, music, crafts, movies, and more. People came for the food, the crafts, the bouncy houses, and the movies. The movie lineup included:

The Wild Robot

Lilo and Stitch

The Minecraft Movie

Ghostbusters

There were craft vendors who sold 3D printed shapes and animals, crocheted animals, and henna tattoos. Food vendors like East Coast Ice and the El Gato were also present. Fan favorite food items were the nachos from El Gato and the Italian ices from East Coast Ice.

Erin E., a librarian assistant from Brownell Library, shared, “I think we have a great community, and I love getting to see so many friends and neighbors.” 

Michael Randall, a community member, also enjoyed this event: “It is good to connect with the people around you.”
