Essex Junction Parks and Recreation (EJRP) is introducing a new community event called Meet Me on Main. For the next three Saturdays, Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 4 to 7 p.m. A family-friendly movie will be shown each week at 7 p.m.
The movies lineup:
September 27: Lilo and Stitch
October 4: A Minecraft Movie
October 11: Ghostbusters
Each Saturday, there will be different food vendors, live entertainment (like magicians and circus performers), and local artisans. Handmade goods made by locals will be available to look at and buy, with different ones participating each week.
Additionally, children can participate in crafts, games, and kid-centered activities, which are offered during all of the events.
The night ends with a movie and complimentary s’mores. People who attend the movies are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.
