Students Demand Action is a branch of the national organization Everytown for Gun Violence, which is committed to ending gun violence. Currently, our Essex High School chapter is running a supply drive for survivors of domestic violence. This is extremely relevant to our cause because access to a gun makes it five times more likely that a woman will die at the hands of a domestic abuser. We are collecting items until the end of the day on Friday, 12/20. All donations will go to Steps to End Domestic Violence. Please donate if you are able and spread the word!
